Charter Refund Policy
Full Refunds or credit for another charter:
- Trip cancellations due to inclement weather.
- Trip cancellations due to boat mechanical problems before it leaves the dock.
- Cyborg Pirate reserves the right to cancel the trip if there are less than 3 divers. Can refund or credit towards another charter.
- Customers on open boat charters who cancel prior to 24 hours of departure time.
No Refunds for:
- Diver cancellations made within 24 hours of departure.
- Poor visibility, lake vis is seasonal.
- Seasickness issues.
- No-shows or for Divers arriving after scheduled departure time.
- Dives attempted and called by a diver for any reason.
Training changes and cancellation policy:
Our Cyborg Pirate recreational level course fees are non-refundable.
You can however change your course date to any other course on our schedule that has available spots, up to 14 days before the start of your course. Changes to your course dates within 14 days of your course date may be possible subject to penalties, including a $200 course change fee.
If you choose not to pursue a course once purchased, you may apply the amount of that course as a credit to future courses, less the cost of any SDI materials you have been given, as we cannot accept returns on course materials.
Obviously, there is no way to guarantee an individual can or will become a certified diver at any level. Class space is limited (typically 4 students), and due to this there are no class refunds (tech classes are another topic). The only exception is for students whose medical doctor specifically denies permission to dive, or for those who have a previous unknown medical condition that precludes diving. Some exceptions may be made in the case of medical emergencies, illness, and at the discretion of Cyborg Pirate management.
Students that do not complete their training in class/pool/ lake may reschedule 1 time for a cost of $100.00.
